Nih Kaartdijin Mia (NKM) proudly specialises in working with the FIFO (Fly In Fly Out) sector of the mining industry throughout the Pilbara region. In a first-of-its-kind initiative, we are partnering with several Western Australian mining companies to integrate Indigenous mental health first aid training into their organisational systems. This important step will improve access to culturally safe mental health resources for Aboriginal staff and the broader workforce.
We are proud to have partnered with leading businesses like North West Alliance, Roy Hill, Rio Tinto, and FORM – Spinifex Art Studio, delivering workshops and initiatives that embed mental health support into workplaces.
We also sincerely thank and acknowledge the businesses and organisations that have supported our events and workshops, including:
Bugarrba, KingKira Group, Waru Vehicle Hire, Yilkari Cranes, Fortescue, West Coast Eagles, Royal Life Saving WA, Talent Pool, Cat 5 Labour Management, Julyardi, Town of Port Hedland, and The JD Hardie Youth and Community Hub,
Along with many other valued businesses and community partners who have shown ongoing commitment to promoting good mental health across our regions.
Your support is vital in helping us create stronger, safer, and more culturally responsive workplaces and communities.
We are also proud to provide mental health first aid training to corporate clients and the general public. Everyone benefits from focusing on their mental health.
Interested companies or individuals are welcome to find out more about our upcoming workshops or get in touch with us.
